Trena Gagliardo Was born in Idaho Falls Idaho. I am Traditional artist I’m passionate about the quality rather than the quantity of my artwork – an inspiration which is evident in each piece I create. I enjoy doing erotic ,realism and fantasy I am fascinated with all forms of art a self-taught visual artist I have found my true calling in the world of graphite, charcoal, and coloured pencil art. My drawings are highly realistic and detailed, consisting mainly of human and animal portraits and figures.
Realistic pencil drawing is the most basic and purest form of art for me. When I draw, my pencil is not just a tool, but it becomes this magic wand opening up a whole new universe and allowing me to completely connect with my artwork. The most powerful connection is achieved when I draw a portrait and I can almost sense the humanity and soulfulness emerging from the eyes and facial expression.
I am constantly inspired by the realistic beauty surrounding us. There can be so much beauty in the smile of a ragged old face, in the innocent expression of child, in the seductive glance of a woman, in the magnificence of the natural world, in the serenity of a still-life, if we don’t just look with your eyes, but also with our heart.... My favorite subject is the human form I and enjoy working in all sorts of medium My favorite being oils on canvas.
I have a Fine arts Degree from New York .
I have exhibited my work at in many Galleries including Cannery Row studios in California and 1212 Gallery in Richmond Virginia Trena has also sold many works to private collectors and has designed Logos, tee shirts and advertisements for various businesses.
